Luna IIA former mining asteroid, originally known as Juno and used for the construction of the space colonies, that became the headquarters of the Earth Federal Space Force. Luna II serves as a naval base and staging area for the Federation and was moved to L3 to help in constructing the new Side 7. During the One Year War the asteroid became the major base in space of the Earth Federation. Its status makes it a tempting target for attack by pro-space sympathizers.

Solomon/Konpei IslandOne of three asteroids that the Principality of Zeon used as staging points. It is located at L5, amid the ruins of Side 1. A massive battle was fought here, resulting in the death of Dozle Zabi. Also, the EFSF (Earth Federation Space Force) used their prototype mass-destruction weapon—the Solar System—during the battle to fight against Zeon. Shortly thereafter, the Earth Federation secured it and renamed the captured base Konpei Island.

 Cylinder IVOne of the few colonies clear out near Jupiter. Designed like an Island 3 type, its construction is only 47% Complete, meaning it looks like a random patch of jagged coral you would see near a shoal in the ocean. However, ignoring its dark and meanacing looks Cylinder IV is the only place in this area where there's a neutral Junk Guild.
